Linking External Files

External integrations allow you to embed third-party engineering tools directly into your documentation, enabling teams to access their existing workflows without leaving DevScribe.

Whether your team relies on Draw.io for diagrams, Excalidraw for whiteboarding, Redash for dashboards, Mermaid for diagram-as-code, or other supported integrations, these resources can be embedded alongside your documentation to provide a unified engineering workspace.

When you need to make changes, simply click Edit on the embedded integration. DevScribe opens the corresponding tool, allowing you to update the content while keeping it connected to your documentation.

This enables teams to continue using their preferred tools while bringing project documentation, diagrams, dashboards, and other engineering resources together in a single workspace, reducing context switching and making technical documentation more comprehensive and accessible.
