About

Built by developers, for developers.

Devscribe started as an independent project — a personal attempt to fix the frustration of moving one idea through five different apps. It is not backed by a company. Feedback and ideas from the community shape what gets built next.

The problem

Documentation in one tool. Diagrams in another. APIs in a third. Queries in a fourth. Every hand-off loses context, and diagrams go stale the moment the design changes.

The approach

A single lightweight desktop app where a document can hold the diagram, the query and the runnable snippet next to the prose that explains them. Developers need fewer tools, not more.

All-in-one simplicity

Documentation, diagrams, queries and code in one workspace instead of five tabs.

Executable documentation

Code blocks run, APIs respond, databases connect. Examples stay true because they execute.

Community-driven

No company behind it. Feature requests from developers decide the roadmap.

A community effort, not a product roadmap.

Every feature in Devscribe comes from a real developer pain point. Developers in 75 countries use it today, and their suggestions decide what ships next.
